The Wallacia Public School Community
Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.
Parent & Citizens Association (P & C)
Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.
Joining the P&C is a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board!
2025 P & C Executive Team & Members
If you’d like to join our school P&C, simply attend one of our meetings held twice each school term. Alternatively, you can get in touch with the P&C directly or speak to our office staff—contact us today to get involved!
Volunteer at our School
Getting involved in your child’s school community is a wonderful way to support their education and connect with other families. As a parent or carer, there are many volunteer opportunities available to you, such as assisting with school events, participating in the Parents and Citizens (P&C) association, listening to children read in the classroom, helping out on sports days, and supervising excursions. If you’re interested in contributing your time and skills, please get in touch with the school to find out how you can help.
Canteen
Wallacia PS students have the opportunity to order their lunch on a Tuesday. Thank you to Gemma from Gemma Lees Cafe at Luddenham for offering this opportunity.
The table in the school office has order slips that can be filled out, placed inside a Ziplock or paper bag with money (label the bag with amount of money enclosed) and then put in the box, labelled "Lunch Orders", on the office table before 8:55am on the day of ordering.
Late orders cannot be accepted.
Alternatively, lunch orders can be brought into the office at any time on a Monday.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club takes place every morning before school from 8:30am - 8:55am.
The program gives students the opportunity to eat a wholesome, nutritious breakfast on a regular basis. Having breakfast has a positive impact on factors such as physical and mental health, social skills, concentration, behaviour, attendance and academic outcomes.
Family Support Services
Our school offers a range of family assistance services to support our community. These include School Counselling and family counselling to provide emotional and mental health support, financial assistance programs to help families in need, and interpreting and translation services to ensure clear communication for all families. We are committed to supporting every family’s wellbeing and engagement with the school.
School Counselling Service
The NSW School Counselling Service plays a key role in supporting students, parents, teachers and school staff in NSW Public Schools.
Interpreting & Translation
Our schools will assist parents who do not speak or understand English well, the deaf or hearing impaired and those with a speech impairment.
