Penrith Panthers Visit Wallacia Public School
The students of Wallacia Public School participated in three Rugby League clinics during Weeks 7 and 8, which were run by NRL Game Development Officers.
These clinics developed the students' understanding of Rugby League and the skills that are required to participate in the game. The students were very enthusiastic to participate and learn more about Rugby League.
On the day of the second clinic, we had a very special visit from two current Penrith Panther players; Adam Docker and Ethan Cook. Our students had many interesting questions for the players and received some good insight into their life as a professional footballer.
The students asked for autographs and had a wonderful time getting to know the players.
We would like to thank the NRL Game Development team, particularly Kate Parkinson, who made all of this happen. This was a wonderful sporting experience for our students!
You can see a short article about this visit on the Penrith Panthers website here.
